The Brickell Community Chamber is excited to announce its Internship and Externship Program, designed to provide valuable hands-on experience for students in various fields. This six-week program offers a unique opportunity for high school, undergraduate, and graduate students to work closely with the leadership of the Chamber while engaging with local businesses, community leaders, and professionals. With a focus on South Florida students, this program aims to equip participants with practical skills, insights into their chosen industries, and valuable networking opportunities, all while contributing to the growth and development of the Brickell community.

Duration: 6 weeks
Commitment: 20 hours per week

Eligibility: Open to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students in the following fields:

Program Structure

1.

Weekly Tasks: Interns will be assigned three tasks per week tailored to their degree and the needs of the Chamber.

2.

Major Objective: Each intern will have one major project to complete over the six weeks, defining their internship experience.

3.

Rotating Mentorship: Interns will have access to multiple mentors within the Chamber administration and member organizations, providing diverse insights and guidance.

4.

Networking Opportunities: Depending on the internship type, interns may attend networking events and have access to all Chamber programs and events.

 

Evaluation and Progress Tracking

Weekly Evaluations: Interns will have weekly progress meetings and receive documentation to track their development and achievements.

Feedback Mechanism: Continuous feedback will be provided to ensure interns are meeting their objectives and gaining valuable experience.
